Reports
have it that Boko Haram insurgents are now in control of 25 towns in Borno,
Yobe and Adamawa. According
to reports, terrorist sect, Boko
Haram has now taken over 25
towns in the North-East.
The
Catholic Church,
according to ThisDay, gave a list of the towns in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa that are now
under the control of the sect.
They
are: Damboa, Buni Yadi,
Madagali, Gwoza, Gujba, Gulak, Bama, Gulani, Shuwa, Marte, Kukawa, Michika,
Dikwa, Bularafa, Bazza, Gamboru Ngalla, Buni Gari, Banki, Bara, Pulka, Bumsa,
Ashgashiya, Taltaba, Limankara and Njibulwa.
The
church also reportedly added that the state capital, Maiduguri is at danger
of also being overrun by the militants.
A
coalition of non-governmental organizations also said earlier that Michika and Bazza in Adamawa are still
under the sect’s control and have not been retaken by the Nigerian Army as
widely stated.
