Ebola virus have again risenas the Republic of Benin has confirmed that it is
treating apatient suspected to have the disease.
The country’s Healthminister,
Dorothe Gazard has said that a Beninois hospital iscurrently treating a
Nigerian man who seems to have Ebola.
Healthofficials are said to have
sent the patient’s blood to Senegal fortesting and verification.
Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and
Nigeriahave confirmed cases of Ebola and if the tests turn out
positive,the Republic of Benin could be the fifth.
The deadly disease has killed over
900 people in West Africa since this year’s outbreak began in February.
