Acting IG Decorates Three Newly Promoted CPs

CP AMINCHI SAMAILA BARAYA BEING DECORATED WITH HIS NEW RANK BY THE IGP

The Acting Inspector-General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba, Monday, decorated three (3) newly promoted Commissioners of Police namely: CP Aminchi Samaila Baraya, CP Alkali Baba Usman and CP Dan Bature.

According to a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Frank Mba, the short but colourful ceremony was the first since Mr. Abba came on board as acting IGP. While congratulating the newly promotedCommissioners of Police, Abba enjoined them to see their elevation to the new rank as a clarion call for higher dedication to duty, noting that to whom much is given, much is expected.

 

The IGP further enjoins the Senior Police Officers to be alive to the happenings around them and to make themselves readily accessible not only to the Officers and men under them but also to the entire members of the public, Mba said.
